PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
The Venture Capital STEM Bootcamp is focused on Bio-Agriculture & Technology/Bio:Science in partnership with Smithfield Foods, Inc. This camp will provide a comprehensive view of Bio-Science/Agriculture & Technology and the impact across multiple industries and careers globally. Our sessions will be led by engineers, technologists, and diverse top executive business leaders with a myriad of global experiences. These elements play a pivotal role in student achievement, self-efficacy, and confidence in STEM. We will conduct assessments through-out the two-year program and make adjustments based on our findings.
Program Dates:
This is a two-year cohort with several weeks of immersive programming and one weekend a month until the conclusion. 2021 will be all virtual only and 2022 we will be on the campus of UNC Chapel-Hill.
2021 Summer Camp Immersive Dates: (6 hrs per day: 9-11 AM, 1-3 PM, 5-7PM)
